 Photo: Jazz legend Dave Brubeck DIES at 91. 1920 - 2012 With a career spanning over 6 decades, the legendary pianist and his quartet's 'is best known for Take Five' which was the first million-selling jazz recording. Being taken on his way to a d octor’s appointment by his longtime manager and producer Russell Gloyd, who begin to notice the unresponsiveness of Brubeck. Rushed him to a hospital in Norwalk, Conn., there the acclaimed artists was pronounced dead.
