Gary Honor "Heads & Tales"

Trippin 'N' Rhythm

Gary Honor is a true star in the making. An Australian born gent who is well known for alto, soprano saxophone and flautist expertise has launched his new CD, "Heads & Tales" on May 22, 2012.

Thirteen tracks with a burst of notes ranging from smooth jazz and funk to fusion style with twelve of them being in collaboration with British jazz star Oli Silk and an all star lineup of musicians from Australia, USA and the UK.

One such track, "Close To You" (1990 revival of Maxi Priests hit) is the only vocal track selected. It has a slightly urban feel and pop sound while Gary made sure to give the ending a contemporary vamped jazz change.

"Rock the Jazzbah” lends its sounds to a contagious dance. An up tempo song with a chill groove feel.

"Under The Influence" brings to mind a refreshing blowout of saxophones giving it that old school jazz and funk feel.

Gary Honor new CD "Heads & Tales" will take him to new heights internationally and giving us a mix of that funk and fusion feel we so desire in music at times. Take it away Gary ...You are a STAR!
